Singapore Sports School Opened in April 2004, the Singapore Sports School (SSS) develops talented young sportsmen and sportswomen in Singapore at its $75 million campus in Woodlands. SSS offers four- or five- year academic courses to prepare students for the Singapore- Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination. Enrolment is competitive, requiring applicants to take part in selection trials and interviews. The school specializes in nine sports: badminton, tenpin bowling, soccer, netball, sailing, swimming, table tennis, golf, and track and field. It is the only school in the country to have a sports science academy with its own team of sports scientists.
