Golden Village Multiplex operator. Golden Village is a joint venture between film company Golden Harvest of Hong Kong and publicly- listed Village Roadshow of Australia. Golden Village launched Singapore’s first multiplex on 28 May 1992 with the opening of the Yishun 10 Multiplex. As of 2005, the company has eight multiplexes and cineplexes in Singapore, including GV Grand at Great World City, which opened in 1999.
